Accounting for Jewelers is an online accounting community for Independent Jewelers that provides accounting services, information and consults.
Due to the nature of Accounting for Jewelers, we address financial matters on our site and social media, videos, newsletters or other content. While it is our goal to accurately represent everything we put out into the world, we are humans behind this screen and are not perfect.
The information, products and services we provide is meant to improve your jewelry business. However, there is no guarantee that you will get any results or earn any money using any of our ideas, tools, strategies or recommendations.
Nothing on Accounting for Jewelers or other outlets is a promise or guarantee of earnings. Your level of success is determined on what you do. Please use our offerings to help you on your way.
By using our site, you agree that it is your responsibility to make our suggestions, free resources and programs work for you and you take 100% responsibility for your life including, but not limited to decisions, actions and results. What is your refund policy?
For annual support, you can cancel your membership anytime during the year, but once your payment is processed for the following year it cannot be refunded.
For one-on-one trainings and DIY online courses, we have worked hard to provide the best service available to jewelers who want to do their accounting efficiently themselves using cloud-based software. Because we know this works and we train specifically to make it easy for you and provide everything you need to do so, we do not offer refunds on these services. If you have any questions or concerns, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and let us know what’s up.
For Bookkeeping and Accounting Services, please refer to your service agreement signed before services were rendered.

How can I have someone do the setup for me and train me to use Xero specifically for my business?

Do you offer support for jewelers that do the bookkeeping themselves?
Yes. Visit the sign up page at http://accountingforjewelers.com/a4j-community/ to purchase your annual membership for email support.

Why can’t I download the files?
We want to make the material we share in our programs and free training as easy as possible for you to access. If you’re having trouble downloading the material or simply did not receive a link to access the material, please e-mail email@example.com. If you received an error message, then please include what it said, so we may troubleshoot and send you the material.
Why are the videos not playing or freezing?
If you are a member of Accounting for Jewelers and are unable to access your videos in the members’ area, please try to logout and log back in with your username and password. Often, your browser will may have saved your previous day’s permission level. Refreshing your browser can also do the trick. If you are still unable to access these videos, please try to delete your browsers cache and cookies.
Still not working? Different browsers and devices handle playback differently and various browser add-ons and plugins may affect playback.

The site isn’t working properly. What should I do?
Glitch happens. If you have trouble accessing any of the material on the site, please e-mail email@example.com so we may troubleshoot the issue. In your message please include the URL relevant to the issue and as much information as you can share, such as the browser and/or device you are using when you experienced this complication, any error messages you may have received and screen shots are great too. Do you offer Bookkeeping Services?
Yes. Mariel does Bookkeeping Services for Xero -Beautiful Online Accounting Software and Quickbooks Online! She is a Certified Advisor for both systems and is a Bronze Partner with Xero.
You can work with her by clicking here for a Complete Setup and Training of your system, so you can confidently do it yourself. Or, hire her at a monthly flat rate for taking it completely off your plate. She will do your bookkeeping, so you don't have to worry about it.
How do I know I can trust a person in the community?
Accounting for Jewelers promotes a helpful, kind environment. We do not tolerate inappropriate behavior of any kind. While we do not require an Independent Jeweler to submit proof to be part of the community, we trust that each jeweler is here to learn and do so with respect. We do require all Accountants, Bookkeepers and Financial Advisers to complete a questionnaire before receiving approval to be part of the community. We do this to sort their skill level and interests to better serve the jewelers in the community.
We cannot take responsibility for services rendered outside of Accounting for Jewelers or for advice given by anyone in the community. Please take responsibility for your judgement of others and only deal with people you feel are a good fit for you.
I don’t want a download. Can I get the product shipped to me?
Yes. If you would prefer a printed copy of a downloadable item. Please Email us with your Name and Shipping address and the email associated with your Paypal account. We will send you a bill for the cost of the printed version and shipping. Once payment is confirmed, we will ship the product to you so you can have it in hand.
Do you provide free consultations?
Yes! I actually prefer to consult with you live than back and forth via email. It's saves us both time and I love being efficient! Pick a time below to take action now and schedule an appointment so we can see how to improve the bookkeeping practices in your business.
