Annbie Armas

Account Manager

Annbie joined Accounting for Jewelers in August 2022 and marked four years with the firm in August 2026. She has worked in bookkeeping and accounting since 2011, and she serves as a team lead for our bookkeepers. The team looks up to her and comes to her first, because she is steady, knowledgeable, and always willing to help. She manages her own client books from reconciliation through monthly reporting, and she has brought AI tools into her work to move faster without giving up accuracy.

Accounting was not Annbie’s first choice. Her cousin encouraged her to try it, and she found she loved the work. She holds degrees in Business Administration (Financial Managerial Accounting) and Accountancy.

What do you like about Accounting?
Accounting is not just about numbers; you need to have the ability to analyze every transaction that you encounter. I love how my brain works when I analyze, and I love the satisfaction of solving transactions in accounting.
What do you like about working at Accounting for Jewelers?
Working at Accounting for Jewelers is a privilege and an opportunity for me to widen my horizon in my career since it is a new industry for me. I learn a lot from my colleagues and enjoy every learning opportunity in my everyday working duty. I also like the fact that A4J is not just concerned about our work but also with our wellness, because of that we have what we call work-life balance. And I love that we treat each other like family.
What do you like about Xero, or working in the cloud?
It provides what businesses need. It makes record keeping simple and that’s a big help for the business owner in running their business.
What's your favorite piece of jewelry that you own, and why?
It’s not mine but my favorite piece of jewelry is a necklace that I gave to my mother as Mother’s Day gift, it’s special because I bought it with my hard-earned money and my mother deserves to receive it.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
Since I love nature, I love to hike and go to the beach. It gives me serenity and the waves calm my mind. But most of the time I'm just home binge-watching Korean Drama or any good movies.
