2 Step. 2 Step. 2 Step. Now that we have you moving to a beat, thanks to Chromeo, please go enable 2 Step Authentication in Xero.

Enable two-step authentication on your Xero account today!

Of our 64 Xero clients, two of you have received messages from Xero that someone in a different location has logged into your account and notified us. 2 step authentication in Xero is the key to prevention.

One of the terrors of the internet is that hackers exist, but one of the ways we fight them is with multi factor authentication. This way, no one can log in to your account without also having access to your phone. Stop what you’re doing and enable 2 step authentication right now!

Safety first! Please click here to follow steps to enable this feature now.

Please note, we each have our own login for Xero for audit purposes, so we will never sign into your Xero account using your login.

We have been using the 2 factor authentication for a few months now with immediate ease. The process is just like using a token key generator, without having to have a separate device.

There is no reason not to implement this extra step. It is not time consuming to set up or to use. Take it from us! We sign into Xero multiple times a day and we do not opt to use the “Remember me for 30 Days” option. It’s so easy.

Whenever you have the option to use multi-factor identification for any online account, you should do it.

Thank you for listening!
