October Security Check

We have a few tips to keep you, your identity, and your hard earned money secure.

National Cyber Security Awareness Month

It’s an ongoing attack. Us against them. Innocent work-a-day vigilantes versus vicious hackers.

We must do our best by taking action faster than attackers can think up new ways of violation.

Prevention is the best protection. Use two-factor authentication for as many websites/apps as possible. Do not send sensitive information through an email (even if it looks legitimate). We will always request information either through Karbon or LastPass.

Click here for how to enable two-factor authentication on your Xero account.

When in Doubt, Shout it Out! If you ever have a question about a suspicious email, reach out to the company directly through their website. Never click on anything in a suspicious email. If you ever receive a suspicious Xero branded or Accounting for Jewelers branded email, please contact us directly to let us know. You can read more about Xero’s security measures here.

If you happen to fall prey to a notorious cyber criminal, report it immediately. Monitor your credit to ensure your identity has not been stolen. Click here to watch why Consumer Reports says not to pay for Identity Protection Services. Contact your bank to keep them alert for suspicious charges.

We are always here for you, feel free to reach out with any questions.
